Here's some exciting news for fans of "The Kapil Sharma Show." Upasana Singh has joined the team of Kapil and will be seen making an entry on the comedy show in the episode that will be telecast on Sunday, July 24.
According to SpotboyE, Upasana will play the role of Pakistani comedian and actor Naseem Vicky's wife. Vicky will also be joining the cast of "The Kapil Sharma Show."
Upasana, who gained popularity as Bua on "Comedy Nights With Kapil," decided to stay back with Colors when the entire team of the show moved on to Sony Entertainment Television with the new series, "The Kapil Sharma Show."
The actress then joined Kapil's rival, Krushna Abhishek's "Comedy Nights Live" on Colors channel, where she played the role of Pinki Bua. However, last month, Upasana quit the show owing to creative dissatisfaction with the makers of "Comedy Nights Live" (Optimystix).
Soon after quitting the show, she made some shocking revelations about her experience with the team of "Comedy Nights Live" in an interview with SpotboyE.
"They ('Comedy Nights Live' team) felt that I was still a part of Kapil Sharma's group. They seem to be anti-Kapil. They used my presence in their team because I was a prominent member in Kapil's team," Upasana told the entertainment portal.
"One should work in a place where he/she gets job satisfaction. What is live about Comedy Nights Live? It's Comedy Nights Dead. Besides, Optimystix ditched me on not just the agreement but payment as well," she added.
