It seems like there is no stopping for the team of "The Kapil Sharma Show." After making it to the top show in the non-fiction category in the recent Television Rating Charts (TRP) charts, the show will now welcome music maestro AR Rahman as a celebrity guest in the upcoming episodes.

The music legend has already shot for the episode with Kapil and his team and one can expect the episode to be a combination of talent and humour. Elated to shoot an episode with AR Rahman, Preeti Simoes, creative director of "The Kapil Sharma Show," took to her Twitter handle to share the news along with a picture. "Dream come true ... thank u god .. we ve @arrahman wid us ... #Futsal . #TheKapilSharmaShow .. am ecstatic," she tweeted.

Kapil Sharma too expressed his nervousness and excitement shooting with AR Rahman on his Twitter handle.

It would indeed be interesting to watch AR Rahman, who otherwise maintains a low profile, appearing on the show and sharing a laugh with Kapil and his team. This piece of news will surely excite the fans of AR Rahman as well as the comedy show.

Meanwhile, the Oscar winner music composer has lent his voice to a romantic song titled "Tu Hai" for Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming film "Mohenjo Daro," which has Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The track was released recently and has been garnering positive response from music lovers.

In other news, the viewers of "The Kapil Sharma Show" will soon see television actress Kanika Maheshwari joining the team of the comedy show. The actress will reportedly play the role of a sexy bhabhi. Recently, Debina Bonnerjee joined the show as Kiku Sharda's on-screen wife. Another actress, Manju Sharma, also joined as Chandan Prabhakar's wife Thandai Devi.
