Kannada movie Kahi, which was released on Friday, November 4, has opened to positive reviews. It is written and directed by Arvind Sastry and jointly produced by Rekha Venkatesh and Nagasheela Prakash.
HariSharva, Krishi Thapanda, Matangi Prasan, Suraj Gowda, Ramesh Bhat, Kishori Ballal, Mahesh Bung and Aravind Iyer are in the cast. Prashanth RS and Vinyas CK have handled the cinematography department, while Midhun Mukundan has scored the music for Kahi. Director Arvind Sastry himself has edited the flick.
The story of Kahi intertwines four different lives; a writer, a drug peddler, a dancer and a psychopath. A series of events interlock their lives in the climax.
Kahi has been appreciated by critics, audience and celebrities for its good presentation backed by some wonderful performances of the actors. In fact, people are of the opinion that the film is the latest entrant to the list of good movies made by young Sandalwood filmmakers in the recent years.
