Kangana Ranaut's last movie "Katti Batti" bombed at the box office and Salman Khan is reportedly being blamed for it.

According to a report in The Asian Age, Kangana's team has held Salman responsible for her latest flop as the superstar convinced her to say "yes" to the project.

The report said that Kangana initially rejected the offer when director Nikhil Advani approached her with the script but later, Salman recommended the film to her as he was working with the same director for "Hero".

After "Katti Batti" turned out to be a flop, Kangana's team is apparently blaming the "Sultan" actor for the same, the report said.

The report also quoted a close source of Salman, who put forward a counter argument. "Salman never asked her to do the film. He just suggested that she give Nikhil time to narrate the script to her. The decision to do 'Katti Batti' was Kangana's. And if she is blaming Salman for its disaster, then who does she blame for 'Rajjo' and 'Revolver Rani'?," the source said.

Earlier, Mid-Day had quoted Kangana as saying: "Salman didn't have to convince me but he called me to tell me about the script. I am glad that he did that because after 'Queen', I was flooded with offers for women-centric films and I was giving them priority as well. I don't think I would have given it a thought. When he (Salman) asked me to hear the script of 'Katti Batti', I agreed. And after hearing the script, in a second I said yes."

While Salman will next be seen in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and "Sultan", Kangana is prepping for "Rangoon".
