Actor Kamal Haasan, who is gearing up for the release of neo-noir crime thriller "Thoongavanam", will team up with Malayalam director TK Rajiv after a gap of two-and-a-half decades.
The veteran actor had previously appeared in Rajeev's debut directorial "Chanakyan" in 1989.
In an interview with Manorama Online, the ace filmmaker said that the movie will be shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. The film is set to go on floors soon.
Rajeev, however, refrained from giving further information about the storyline, cast and crew. He said that more details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
"Thoongavanam" is the official Tamil-Telugu remake of French movie "Sleepless Night" and is expected to hit the screens for Diwali.
