Birthday Special: Kaley Cuoco Turns 29.Reuters

Kaley Cuoco has been included in the celebrities with the strangest haircut list of 2014 by ETonline. The actress, who chopped off her bangs soon after she got married to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, reportedly styled her hair in a "strange" way at the opening of the Vera Wang store in Los Angeles.

The reason she has been included in the list is because the new hairstyle does nothing to complement her red carpet style, as per the Website's report. Cuoco's hair has been the subject of discussion for a long time. When she debuted her new look in "The Big Bang Theory" season 8, she received a lot of flak. A lot of fans thought that her new haircut didn't go with her character, Penny's personality. However, Cuoco remained unfazed by the criticism and proudly showcased her pixie haircut throughout the new season of the popular sitcom.

"I haven't had my hair cut in over 20 years," she told Women's Health about her hair cut. "I was ready for a change -- I felt like I needed to reinvent myself and that cut was awesome ... I loved it, I didn't want to stop. I am surprised I did not shave my head."

Meanwhile, despite making it to the strangest haircut list of 2014, the actress proudly sported her hair at the recent People Magazine Awards. She gave a Johnny Bravo makeover to her hair and looked stunning, as per The Gloss. She brushed her hair in a pompadour and looked "cute."

Before cutting her hair, Cuoco was known for her luscious blonde locks. She sported long hair for seven seasons of "The Big Bang Theory." She reportedly wanted to sport hair extensions when she started shooting for the series' season 8, but the producers wanted her to keep the pixie hair cut. Her haircut was addressed in the first episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 8.

In other news, Cuoco will soon be celebrating her first wedding anniversary on 31 December with husband Sweeting.
