The much awaited song video "Kala Chashma," starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, is set to be out on July 27. But "Jaaneman Aah" singer Aman Trikha is confident that "Kala Chashma" would not affect the popularity of his song.
The peppy track "Jaaneman Aah" from "Dishoom" featured Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra in a sizzling chemistry. The song became much popular and it had crossed 8 million views on YouTube in no time.
Now the makers of "Baar Baar Dekho" are ready to release the first song video "Kala Chashma" that has already created much hype owing to Katrina and Sidharth's hot appearance. Both the songs are peppy item numbers and are being released back to back. However, Aman, who sang "Jaaneman Aah," believes that the two tracks are of different genre and it will not affect the craze around "Jaaneman Aah."
"I don't think so actually. That song (Kala Chashma) is of different zone all together. That's a Punjabi song. 'Jaaneman Aah' won't get affected because it has got a totally different vibe. It has that ekdum dhamaal wala tune on which you can dance anywhere. 'Kala Chashma' has a very cool feel to it but 'Jaaneman Aah' is not cool, it's hot," Aman told International Business Times, India, when asked if "Kala Chashma" would hamper the popularity of "Jaaneman Aah."
"'Jaaneman Aah' is the kind of song for which you can't stop yourself from dancing. 'Kala Chashma' has a different kind of feel. So I really don't think it will hamper or give any kind of competition to 'Jaaneman Aah. Both the songs have their own places,'" he added.
While "Jaaneman Aah" featured Varun and Parineeti together for the first time, "Kala Chashma" song video will present the fresh pairing of Katrina and Sidharth.
