Bollywood actress Kajol is looking for a foray into small screen like many of her contemporaries.

The talented actress could soon be seen in the Indian remake of a Danish psychological thriller and crime drama called "Forbrydelsen," reported Mumbai Mirror.

The BAFTA awarded hit series was even remade in the US called "The Killing." The crime drama revolves around the central protagonist, Detective and Chief Inspector Sarah Lund and would show case her solving murder cases intelligently. The Danish series ran for three seasons.

A source informed the daily that the talented actress has considered the show, but she is still working on the terms and conditions with respect to the show.

"Kajol is a movie star who will attract a lot of eyeballs on television. She loves the part, but the character may turn from a detective to a cop. She is currently working out her terms and conditions with the production house and the broadcaster," the source revealed.

"We cannot comment on market speculation. We will make an official announcement soon," Deepak Dhar, CEO of Endemol India said when asked on the Kajol's television show.
