The teaser of Rajinikanth-starrer "Kabali," which was expected to hit the internet at 12 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, will be releasing later in the day. Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu on Twitter has revealed that the video will be out at 11 a.m.  [Find the Teaser Below]

"#KabaliTeaser will be released on May 1 at 11 am in our YouTube Channel! @superstarrajini @beemji, [sic]," the producer tweeted. This has taken the cine-goers by surprise as teasers of big banner films in the recent years have been releasing late nights. 

The teaser of Rajinikanth's film is expected to introduce Rajinikanth's character to the viewers. The buzz is that the video will have elements that the fans of the superstar like to see in his movies. The well-scored background music will be a bonus to the audience. 

The original plan was to release the teaser of "Kabali" on April 14. But it was rescheduled for reasons best known to the makers. However, it is likely to be attached to Suriya's "24," which will be released on May 6.

Fans' celebration begins
Fans have already started celebrating the occasion online by sharing their excitement on Twitter. They have created a few hashtags to make the teaser release the talk of the town on the micro-blogging site. 

"Kabali" is written and directed by Pa Ranjith. The movie, which has Radhika Apte in the female lead role, is likely to hit screens simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu by the end of May or June. Rajinikanth will be seen as an ageing gangster.

It is an action-thriller produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, who is basking in the success of "Theri." The film has Santhosh Narayanan's music, G Murali's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
