The teaser of Rajinikanth's "Kabali" will be released on Sunday at 11 a.m. The 65-second video will be officially unveiled on YouTube.

The audience is eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of his character in the Tamil film, since Rajinikanth plays the role of a gangster in "Kabali." The buzz is that the teaser will showcase all the elements that are loved by the superstar in his films.

The teaser of "Kabali" will reportedly also have powerful lines with a philosophical undertone. It is said that the video will primarily revolve around Rajinikanth's role and other characters are unlikely to be highlighted in the clip.

Considering his recent works, it is being expected that Santhosh Narayanan will not disappoint his fans with the background score. People are also expecting a surprise element in the last part of the teaser.

The makers wanted to release the teaser of "Kabali" on April 14 and show it along with Vijay's "Theri." However, the plan was later changed. Now, the buzz is that the video will be shown along with Suriya's forthcoming film, "24."

That Rajinikanth, who has worked with experienced filmmakers for decades, opted to work with the two-film old Pa Ranjith came as a pleasant surprise to many. It is said that the superstar was highly impressed with the director's script and the project was started without much delay.

"Kabali" tells the story of a don, who reportedly runs a school for children affected by gang wars. The movie is primarily set in Malaysia but the main character reportedly has his roots at Mylapore in Chennai.

The movie stars Radhika Apte as the female lead while Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, Kishore, John Vijay and others form the supporting cast. The film features Praveen KL's editing and G Murali's cinematography.

"Kabali" will hit the screens in June or July.
