Ahead of the release of the much-hyped Tamil movie "Kabali," Fox Star Studio's "Ice Age: Collision Course" gang has paid tribute to superstar Rajinikanth with a video that is shared on the YouTube page of Think Music India.

The mash-up video features Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the sabre-toothed tiger and other characters of "Ice Age: Collision Course," along with a few scenes of the Thalaivar from "Kabali" with the background music of the action thriller.

"The ‪#‎IceAge‬ herd has a special treat for all the Thalaivar fans out there! Here's a special tribute to Superstar ‪#‎Rajinikanth‬ ‪#‎NeruppuDa‬," Fox Star team posted on their Facebook page. The one-minute-26-second tribute video titled "Tribute To Thalaivar from Ice Age:5 gang" has gone viral within hours of its release and has been viewed more than 46,000 times, at the time of reporting. The video reveals the popularity of the superstar throughout the world.

The fifth installment of the animated family adventure film "Ice Age: Collision Course" is scheduled to hit the screens on July 14, while the makers of Rajinikanth's action thriller have confirmed that the movie will be released worldwide on July 22. "Kabali," which will also be released in Telugu and Hindi, recently bagged a 'U' certificate from the regional censor board. It also stars Radhika Apte, Dinesh, Dhansika, Kishore, Kalaiarasan and Taiwanese actor Winston Chao in key roles.
