Pa Ranjith seems to be planning to work with a big name of Kollywood again after directing Rajinikanth in "Kabali." Well, the buzz is that the filmmaker is likely to team up with none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

Rumours are doing the rounds that Pa Ranjith met Vijay recently and the two discussed a few stories. It is also being said that the actor has liked one of the subjects and has given his verbal consent to act in the movie.

In the last few weeks, rumours were rife of Vijay teaming up with producer Kalaippuli S Thanu, who is basking in the success of "Kabali." Now, it is being speculated that the producer might be teaming up with Pa Ranjith for the film, which would star Ilayathalapathy.

Kalaippuli S Thanu had said at the "Kabali" press meet that he had offered Pa Ranjith to direct one more film for his V Creations after "Kabali." So people are expecting Thanu to produce Vijay's film, which will be directed by Ranjith.

On the other hand, Pa Ranjith is also getting ready to direct Suriya, who plays the role of a boxer in the upcoming film. It appears that the director can only start his film with Vijay after wrapping up the one starring the "Ghajini" actor.

Pa Ranjith has hit a hat-trick after his "Kabali" was declared a hit at the box office. His earlier movies, "Attakathi" and "Madras," had won critical appreciation as well as commercial success.

'Kabali' Mania
Kalaippuli S Thanu recently revealed that "Kabali" has grossed over Rs. 320 crore in six days at the box office. He has expressed his happiness over the film's performance and thanked Rajinikanth and Pa Ranjith for churning out a memorable film for his banner.
