Jyoti Amge celebrated her 18th birthday on Friday with a difference. She was declared the world's shortest living woman by the Guinness World Records.

Measuring 24.39 inches (61.95 cm), the Nagpur girl beat the current record holder Bridgette Jordan, an American, who stands at 69cm. The Guinness World Records adjudicator Rob Molloy handed the certificate to Jyoti Amge on the day she became an adult legally.
