Directed by Santhosh Srinivas, "Rabhasa" is a family drama with Jr NTR, Samantha and Pranitha playing the lead roles. The film also has Seetha, Nassar, Jayasudha and Brahmanandam in supporting roles. The shooting of the film was recently complete and the post production work is going on in full swing.

It is all set to hit the screens for Independence Day on 15 August. Expectations are huge for "Rabhasa" as it is Jr NTR's film. The actor has a huge following and his films take good openings upon its release.

"Rabhasa" is expected to embark on a grand start. The Independence Day long weekend will ensure the film make good collections at the box office. However, its overall performance will depend on the audience response.

The Jr NTR starrer is likely to clash with Ram Gopal Varma-Vishnu Manchu's crime thriller "Anukshanam", which is also releasing on the same day. It will also be locking horns with Suriya's "Anjaan" (Tamil) and Ajay Devgn's "Singham Returns" (Hindi) at the overseas box office.
