Actor Jr NTR has rendered a song for his upcoming film "Rabhasa." The song titled "Rakhasi Rakhasi" has been composed by Thaman. The music composer himself has confirmed the news on his twitter handle.

This is not the first time that Jr NTR has crooned a song in his film. In the past, the actor has sung "Olammi Tikkareginda" song from "Yamadonga", "123 Nenoka Kantri"song from "Kantri" and "Chary" song from "Adhurs."

Composer Thaman has composed the tracks for Jr NTR's films "Brindavanam", "Baadshah" and "Ramayya Vastavayya", all of which have turned out to be hit albums. Expectations for "Rabhasa" album are high as fans will get to see Thaman-Jr NTR magic once again.

According to latest reports, the audio launch of "Rabhasa" is all set to take place at Shilpa Kalavedika, Hyderabad, on 27 July.

Earlier, the film's makers had announced the audio release date as 20 July. But the Hyderabad police had denied permission forcing the makers to push the audio release date.

Directed by Santosh Srinivas, "Rabhasa" is touted to be an action-packed entertainer with Jr NTR, Samantha and Pranitha in lead roles. The film also has Jayasudha, Brahmanandam, Nassar and Sowmya in pivotal roles. The action entertainer is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and Bellamkonda Ganesh Babu.

The film's first look posters and the teaser have been received well by Jr NTR's fans. The trailer is expected to be released along with the audio. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the trailer release date.

"Rabhasa" is slated to hit the screens on 14 August. The film is likely to clash with Suriya's "Sikander", the dubbed version of Tamil film "Anjaan." Although Suriya is predominantly acting in Tamil industry, the actor's films have a good reach among Telugu audience. Some of his dubbed films have done good business at the AP box office.

"Sikander", which will be hitting theatres on 15 August, is expected to release in good number of screens. The action entertainer, directed by Linguasamy, is likely to pose stiff competition to Jr NTR's "Rabhasa." In a coincidence, Samantha plays the female lead in "Sikander" as well. It will be interesting to see how these films perform at the box office.
