Srinagar, June 06 (ANI): The Jammu and Kashmir government increased the retirement age of its employees by two years from 58 to 60 years, assenting to demand of the workers. During a news conference, JandK Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather, in Srinagar said the government employees are now entitled to work till the age of 60. Worker unions have been protesting for the same for last eight years. Employees welcomed the move by the government and said it would solve many financial problems for the sole bread earners of the families.
