Bollywood actress-turned-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is set to direct the third sequel of the erotic-thriller movie "Jism." After the success of her previous instalments, Bhatt reportedly said that "Jism 3" would be the boldest of all the movies in the series.

"I will start working on 'Jism 3' this year and the film will release sometime in 2017. It has to be the boldest movie yet. I have decided to completely shake up things this time," Pooja told the Press Trust of India.

Though she has not signed any actor yet, there are speculations that the third sequel may also star a newcomer. "I don't know, let the speculations begin," she said when asked about the cast.

In the 2003 release, "Jism," John Abraham made his debut in Bollywood opposite Bipasha Basu. And in the second instalment, Sunny Leone appeared on the big screen for the first time. "Jism 2" (2012) also featured Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in the lead roles.

It will be a challenge for Bhatt to make another bold flick under Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Pahlaj Nihalani's observation. Despite the Censor Board's ongoing issues with Bollywood, Bhatt -- known for making bold films -- is least bothered about censorship.

"I have no issues with them. If I don't agree with something they are asking for, I fight. 'Jism' had one cut, excess amount of boldness was toned down in the sequel, my other film 'Sadak' faced issues and 'Zakhm' was banned. So this talk of filmmakers not having freedom of expression is not new, it has been happening," she told PTI.

Bhatt has directed and produced several erotic movies like "Zakhm," "Paap," "Kajraare" and "Rog." Currently, she is producing "Cabaret," which stars Richa Chadha in the lead.
