Jim Corbett, July 17 (ANI): Wildlife authorities of Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand launched night patrolling inside the premises to curb poaching and smuggling activities during monsoon. The authorities have commenced _monsoon operation_ as a preventive measure against poachers. They have also closed primary routes of the national park for four months during monsoons as it becomes dangerous for tourists. Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Sameer Sinha, said adequate staff members have been deployed to keep a strict vigil. The two primary zones, _Dhikala_ and _Bijrani_, have been completely restricted from any tourist activity. The main routes of national park include hilly areas and grasslands, which become unsafe for tourists to travel during rains. Meanwhile, monsoon also affects business of local businessmen who are completely dependent on tourists.
