New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh on Monday said that he has spoken to and has got assurance from Jharkhand Chief Secretary and DGP over the release of abducted people by Maoists in Giridih district of the state. He also added that it is very unfortunate that the young officials who were working for the benefit of the people were abducted by Maoists. Three of the abducted officials are members of the Prime Minister Rural Development Fellowship programme, which was being organised in backward region of the province.
