The contestants on the reality dance show, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9," have been mesmerising the audience with their splendid performance and have been raising the level of competition in each episode.

It was reported earlier that the ongoing season would see only child artistes as wild card contestants, and some possible names had also surfaced. Now, according to Tellychakkar.com, the final list of wild card entrants is out. Siddharth Nigam, who played the role of young Ashoka on "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," would be the first wild card contestant.

Swasti Nitya and Preetjyot, the winners of "India's Best Dramebaaz," Gracy Goswami of "Balika Vadhu" fame, "DID Li'l Champs" winner Teriya Magar, and Spandan Chaturvedi, who played the role of young Chakor on "Udann," will enter the show soon.

Earlier reports had said that "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" child artiste Ruhaanika Dhawan would also be entering the show. However, now it looks like the actress would not be a part of the reality dance show. Apparently, six to seven child celebrities will feature as wild card contestants, out of which, three will continue their journey on the show.

Meanwhile, rumour has it that Jacqueline Fernandez, who is making her television debut as a host with this show, is being paid a whopping Rs. 1 crore per episode. However, the "Flying Jatt" actress denied the report. "It's not true. The reason I signed on was that I wanted to reach out to more people. I felt I was still lacking in reach," Jacqueline told DNA.

"I wanted to be able to connect with that audience in the small towns and interiors — people who didn't relate to me and my movies. My blockbuster hits have created a very glamorous image of me, which is not the real me. I never had a chance to play myself. With Jhalak..., I have that now. I wanted people to see that side of me," Jacqueline said.
