The ninth season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" will soon hit the small screen and the makers have been leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand one. The final list of contestants has been revealed recently and while the viewers are eagerly waiting for the show to go on air, the details of the dance acts by the participants on the opening episode are already out.
According to Tellychakkar.com report, unlike previous years where there used to be only solo performances, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" will see a change in the format with not just solo but duet and trio performances as well.
"Swaragini" actress Helly Shah along with her partner Jai Kumar Nair and twin sisters Poonam-Priyanka will give solo performances.
Gaurav Gera, popular as Chutki from "Shopkeepaa (Shopkeeper) and Chutki" series, and his choreographer Diwakar Nayal will be showcasing their dancing skills along with Salman Y Khan and his partner. Harpal Sokhi and Surveen Chawla will perform duet acts along with their respective partners.
The audience will also be witnessing trio dance performances by Shakti Arora and his partner Suchitra Sawant, Shantanu Maheshwari and choreographer Alisha Singh and Nora Fatehi-Cornel Rodrigues. Siddhant Gupta, Karishma Tanna and Arjun Bijlani will be performing together with their respective choreographers.
The first episode will also see Hrithik Roshan making an appearance on the show to promote his upcoming film "Mohenjo Daro." As for the judges, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde will continue to be a part of the reality show for this season as well. Joining them on the judges panel will be Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, who will mark her TV debut with "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9."
