Like every season, the stage of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" has become an easy go-to for celebrities wanting to promote their films. After Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif and a bunch of other stars, Salman Khan will reportedly be on the show to promote Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi's "Hero".
According to an Absolute India News report, the date hasn't been finalised as yet but there's a strong buzz that the superstar wants to talk about the newcomers' film on the dance reality show.
The reports are in stark contrast to what was being said a few months ago. According to a Deccan Chronicle source, Salman didn't want anything to do with "Hero" promotions as he wanted the debutants to be in the spotlight.
"Salman wants Hero to be an out-and-out vehicle for the promotion of the two bachchas, who make their debut in the film. Salman wants Sooraj Pancholi and Aathiya Shetty to be in the spotlight. Even suggestions that, he do a song and dance for the end-titles, were firmly turned down," the insider further elaborated.
In other news, at the trailer launch of "Hero", Sooraj broke down and hugged Salman, and reportedly said he couldn't have wished for a grander launch.
