Of late, rumours have been doing the rounds that "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" judge Shahid Kapoor and host Manish Paul are not on good terms off set.

Apparently, the "Haider" actor, who is loved by viewers, is insecure with Manish's popularity so much, that he replaced Manish as the host of the show for an episode. 

On the special episode that was aired recently, Shahid was seen judging as well as hosting the show at the same time.

"Shahid is not very happy with Manish, who is loved as the show's host. And despite being the judge on the show he insists on doing Manish's bits as well. In fact, the real reason the whole Manish kidnapping gag was designed was so that Shahid could take over the hosting bit," a source from the sets had earlier told Bollywood Life.

However, it has now been revealed that the real reason for Manish's absence from the show is not just Shahid's insecurity but something more.

Manish, who had attended Shahid and Mira Kapoor's wedding reception, had shared a picture of him with the newly-weds on Twitter and this, surprisingly, didn't go down well with Shahid.

Reportedly, the "Shaandaar" actor was so disappointed with Manish that he refused to shoot with the show's host and insisted on doing a bit of hosting himself.

"Manish, who had gone to Shahid's wedding, posted some pictures on Twitter. This upset Shahid and he did not want to shoot with him at least for one day. That's the reason why Manish did not host the show that day," a source told DNA.

The news has come as a surprise as several pictures from Shahid-Mira's wedding reception have surfaced online.
