Fuelling ongoing rumours of an alleged pregnancy, Jessa Duggar of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" fame recently opened up about her desire to start a family.

It has only been a few months since Jessa got married to Ben Seewald, but like her parents, Jessa too has expressed a wish to have a large family, and noted that adoption was also on the cards.

"We would love to have children of our own, and we would also love to adopt. It's something we are constantly praying about," Jessa told the February issue of Celebrate Arkansas magazine, according to Inquistr.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Jessa has spoken about adopting. In an interview with People last year, the 22-year-old echoed similar sentiments saying: "We both want to have a big family. We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too."

In the meantime, rumours of Jessa being pregnant gained traction a few days back after the Facebook page for the Duggars' reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," posted a picture of Jill, Jessa and their husbands, with the caption, "New husbands. New babies. New season."

While many were quick to assume the "babies" in the caption indicated that Jessa was expecting, chances are high that it could have been a reference to Anna Duggar, who is pregnant with her fourth child.

"19 Kids and Counting' returns to TLC on 17 February and a number of fans have been speculating that the newly married couple will announce their pregnancy on the show.

Interestingly, many have taken this opportunity to advice Jessa to wait for a while before starting a family.

Here is what one fan wrote on Facebook:"If jessas smart she will wait to have kids she needs to enjoy her husband and her freedom while she can she's still real young there's plenty of time to have kids cause when u do your life is never the same I'm not saying having a baby is a bad thing it's a blessing n I love my daughter to death I'm just saying they need to enjoy each other for a bit at least a yr and let the honeymoon set in I mean they hardly get to know each other while courting its not like regular dating..."
