It was recently reported that Jennifer Winget was overcome by emotions when she was asked to perform on former husband Karan Singh Grover's song at an event. However, the actress has denied the buzz, calling it "absolute rubbish."
Jennifer and Karan's divorce was finalised recently. Jennifer was supposed to perform at a Holi event, but when the actress was informed that she had to dance on the song "Tu Ishq Mera" from Karan's recent release "Hate Story 3," she reportedly got upset.
The report had also said that Karan's former wife immediately refused to perform on the song. "Jennifer was scheduled to perform on Karan's popular song 'Tu Ishq Mera' from 'Hate Story 3.' The song was selected by the channel. But the moment she found out that she was to perform on that song, she put her foot down and refused to do the act," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
"After a lot of convincing from the event's committee, she finally agreed to perform on the song. But again during the final performance, the actress got emotional and took an hour long break to resume," the source had added. Nevertheless, the actress rubbished the news. "I don't know how false stories can do the rounds. It is absolute rubbish," Jennifer told Bollywoodlife.
Karan and his second wife Jennifer had tied the knot in 2012 and had separated in January 2014. Reports say that the couple recently got divorced. On the other side, Karan and his rumoured girlfriend Bipasha Basu's bond is growing stronger by the day.
Earlier, it had been reported that Jennifer and Karan's divorce was taking time as she had demanded a large sum as alimony from the "Hate Story 3" actor, who was hesitant to agree to the deal. However, Jennifer then took to Twitter and denied the buzz saying that she had not demanded such alimony from Karan and she was happy that Karan had moved on.
