It was a double bonanza for Jennifer Love Hewitt, as "The Ghost Whisperer" actress on Tuesday announced the birth of a baby girl and her secret wedding with fiancé Brian Hallisay.

Representatives of Hewitt told People Magazine, "Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband Brian Hallisay are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter. Autumn James Hallisay was born on November 26."

Us Weekly citing a source reported that Hewitt and Hallisay tied the knot in a very private ceremony.

Hewitt confirmed her pregnancy in May 2013. Three months later, she was a part of the Pampers Love Sleep and Play Campaign launch.

Hewitt is definitely thrilled to be a mother. In an interview with People she said, "I lost my mom a little less than a year and a half ago to cancer. Obviously, I got very lucky that even though I lost my mother, I lost her later in life, but it's still had a profound effect on me,"

"I've always wanted to be a mom. I had a great relationship with mine. I'm ready to pass on to my child all the great love that my mom had for me," she added.

Hewitt and Hallisay met on NBC show "Short Lived" and sparks flew between the two while shooting for a cancelled lifetime show titled "The Client List". The couple announced their engagement just a day after Hewitt announced her pregnancy, reported The Huffington Post.

The couple will start scouting for a family home soon.

Elated by the news of Autumn's birth and a surprise wedding, fans have been sending their wishes to Hewitt.

A comment on People read: "Congratulations to them on the baby and marriage! I absolutely love the name they chose. It's pretty and definitely a Jennifer name.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres also conveyed her wishes through Twitter.
