Jennifer Garner's tumultuous relationship with husband, Ben Affleck, is nowhere near a closure. The couple's marriage has been rocked with infidelity, alcoholism and erratic behaviour, suggest reports. The two even contemplated divorce following Ben's indiscretion with ex nanny, Christine Ouzounian. But for now, they are still married. That is, if the "Batman" actor follows Jennifer's ultimatum - rehab.

According to a report, which appeared in OK! Magazine, Jennifer wants Ben to check into a rehab centre. The article stated that Ben's alcoholism has resurfaced and it is causing a wider rift in the family.

"Ben's battle with alcoholism has been rearing its ugly head," a source said, adding, "Jen says he's been drinking throughout the day," reported OK! Magazine (via In Touch). The article further states that Ben's drinking problems have reached a new low since his fallout with Jennifer after the nannygate.

Ben had checked into a rehab centre in Malibu in 2001 to battle alcoholism.

While news of their divorce was reported in the media just recently, the publication revealed that their marriage was on the brink even before Christine Ouzounian and Ben Affleck had an affair.

However, it remains to be seen if Ben will take his wife's request seriously. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor was spotted without his wedding ring during the recent vacation with his kids in Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, California on Monday, reported ET.

Up until now, Ben and Jen's three children- Violet (9), Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3) have been staying at the family house, while Jen is busy filming her new movie in Atlanta. ET reported that Jen will stay there until Friday, 28 August.
