Beyonce's husband and Rap king Jay Z has been accused of lying about his age. Radio host and culture critic Troi Torain, popularly known as Star has put allegations on Jay Z regarding the latter's age. As per Torian, Jay Z is 50-years-old, whereas official records of Jay Z suggest that his age is 44.
"I shouldn't blow this up, maybe because he doesn't promote it publicly, but Jay-Z and I are the same age," he told a caller on his radio show Star: Live and Direct, adding: "I will be 50 on May 3. He's 43, 42... that's just media made," reported Lifestylemag
If the reports are true than Jay Z is 18 years older to his wife Beyonce. And it is not only Jay Z who has been accused of lying about his age. Even Beyonce was once blamed for being 35 and not 32 by Good Morning America host Bianna Golodryga. In case of Beyonce, claims could be true as Bianna and Beyonce reportedly went to school together. However, in case of Jay Z and Torian there is no proof as to both were pals.
Moreover, Torain is known to say outrageous things on radio and accusing the legendry rapper could be just one of those.
Meanwhile, apart from the age controversy, Jay Z recently dissed Drake in his song "We Made It". One of the verse of Jay Z's song goes, "Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk. Silly me, rappin' 'bout s**t that I really bought - while these rappers rap about guns that they ain't shot - and a bunch of other silly s**t that they ain't got."
The diss from Jay Z came after Drake made fun of artwork being used in Jay Z's songs. "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny," Hollywoodlife quoted Drake.
