Tokyo, Mar 16 (ANI): Ryogoku is a center of Tokyo's history and culture, and home to Sumo wrestling. Near the Sumo stadium is located Edo-Tokyo Museum, which has preserved the urban history of Tokyo. Established in 1993, the museum building is modeled after an old storehouse in Kurazukuri style. The main attractions in the museum include life size replicas, and scale models of towns and buildings over the past 400 years. Visitors can literally experience the history of Tokyo by actually touching, feeling and walking over the Nihonbashi Bridge of the Edo period. They can also visit Nakamuraza theatre, where the Japanese traditional "Kabuki" is performed.
