Sridevi's daughter, Janhvi Kapoor has often been in news for her link-up rumours. First, she was rumoured to be dating Akshat Rajan, and then buzz was that she was dating Dhadak co-actor, Ishaan Khatter. The actress has now finally opened up on the rumours of her affairs.
Janhvi denied dating anyone, and said that both Akshat and Ishaan are just good friends. She further said that the rumours of her affair with Akshat has made him so uncomfortable that he avoids being spotted with her.
"The rumour mongers have also said that I am dating my childhood best friend called Akshat, who's so scared to hang out with me now because he is too scared that we will be papped together. So that day, he came home for dad's birthday and there were paps downstairs at Arjun bhaiyya's house, and he was hiding in a khopcha (corner), put on a hoodie and all, and left. I was like, it's okay," she said on the chat show Famously Filmfare.
She also denied dating Ishaan, and revealed how her parents would get worried with the idea of Janhvi dating someone.
"Dating has always been a situation at home. I don't know why but it has always been. Mom and dad were very dramatic about it and would say, 'When you like a guy, come and tell us, we will get you married.' And I am like, What!! We don't have to get married to every guy we like. We can also be like chill. She was like chill? What does it even mean? So they don't understand the concept of chill," the star kid added.
On the work front, the actress after successful debut in Dhadak, has now two big upcoming movies in her kitty. One is Karan Johar's movie Takht that has a huge star cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi.
Also, she will be seen playing the lead in biopic of IAF pilot, Gunjan Saxena.
