Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra revealed the release date and first look of her upcoming film "Jai Gangaajal", which is the sequel to Ajay Devgn's "Gangaajal".

Priyanka will be seen playing the role of a cop fighting corruption in the Prakash Jha's directorial.

The actress is the female protagonist in the sequel, which also features the "Singham" actor.

However, this is not the first time PeeCee will be seen in such a role. She has played a cop in "Don 2" as well.

On the poster of "Jai Gangaajal", Priyanka is in her character with a serious look on her face and many celebs have lauded her tear-eyed appearance on social media.

Along with the first look, she also revealed that the film will hit screens on 4 March, 2016.

The "Exotic" singer last appeared in Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do" along with Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah and Farhan Akhtar. The film about a dysfunctional Punjabi family, the Mehras, won the audience's hearts and did well at the box office.

She will also feature on ABC channel's upcoming American thriller series, "Quantico" which is set to be aired this month. PeeCee plays the protagonist, an FBI recruit, in her first International television series.

Apart from this major project, Priyanka is also a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama "Bajirao Mastani".

The film is based on the love story of warrior Peshwa Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani, played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone respectively. Priyanka is playing the role of Baji Rao's first wife Kashibai.

On 15 September, the first song 'Gajanana' of the film was released. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's mega project is slated to hit theatres on 18 December along with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's "Dilwale".
