A few days ago, Salman Khan had said that Jacqueline Fernandez will not be a part of the sequel to "Kick". "Jacqueline has been kicked out of Kick".

Now, one would have thought that Salman was rather rude to his "Kick" co-star. But Jacqueline Fernandez is apparently not hurt at all.

In the normal course, such a comment from Salman Khan would have set tongues wagging that all was not well between them.

However, the actress says she and Salman still share great rapport. "I find it funny when people say that we are cut off. Salman would never disrespect me or any woman. Even if he did say he had kicked me out of Kick 2, it wasn't meant to hurt me. Casting is his decision and he doesn't owe me anything. Our relationship goes beyond professional commitments," Mumbai Mirror quoted Jacqueline as saying.

Salman had made the controversial remark while attending an event at Dubai.

"Sajid and I will work together then whenever it happens. However, there will be no Jacqueline. She has been kicked out. Now we will find someone else," Salman was quoted as saying when asked about his upcoming "Kick" sequel.

There were also reports that Salman and Jacqueline are dating each other and their closeness during the making and promotions of "Kick" fired up the rumour even more.

Although Jacqueline will not be seen in "Kick" sequel, the actress has a number of upcoming films lined up, including "Brothers" starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, "Dishoom" starring Varun Dhawan and "Bangistan" featuring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat.

Sajid Nadiadwala is currently working on the story of Salman's "Kick" sequel and the film is likely to go on floors in the next two to three months.
