Veteran actor Sathyaraj, who created buzz with his Kattappa in SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali, has appeared as a ghost in "Jackson Durai" teaser, which was released on Friday, 7 August.
"Jackson Durai", which is written and directed by Dharanidharan, is touted as an action-horror film. The new avatar of Sathyaraj has raised curiosity of the fans, who are awaiting for the release of the film.
The veteran actor's son Sibiraj will play lead role in the film as cop who saves villagers from ghosts. Bindu Madhavi will appear as the female lead, while Karunakaran will be seen in a key role.
The music of the film will be composed by Vipin Sidharth, while the lyrics are written by Mohan Rajan. Cinematography will be handled by Yuva and editing by Vivekharshan.
According to reports, the film, which is produced under the banner of Sri Green Productions, is set to go on floors soon.
There are also rumours that Sathyaraj could be seen as Rajinikanth's 159th film with director Ranjith.
