"Baahubali: The Beginning" released in China on July 22. Soon after, lead star Prabhas became an instant hit and clicked with the audience in the country.
Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, the epic-adventure film had created quite a buzz in India and overseas.
The Chinese audience were awestruck when they saw Prabhas perform martial arts and pull off daredevil stunts with effortless ease. The scene, where Prabhas is shown to be trekking rocky mountains, had the viewers thrilled.
They are taken with Prabhas' powerful performance and martial arts skills; and now, he has become a household name in the country. According to sources, actor Jackie Chan was heard inquiring about the South superstar.
The second installment, "Baahubali: The Conclusion," will arrive in theatres in 2017. The Chinese audience is eagerly waiting for it.
