Fans of The CW's comedy-drama series "iZombie" Season 3 are looking forward to the return of the series with Season 3 as several significant changes are expected to be brought about in the upcoming season.

Recent rumours state that Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) will transform beyond recognition in the third season. However, as reported by Parent Herald, Kohli has denied any such rumours. However, fans continue to be excited to see his character returning to the series.

The buzz started when Kohli posted on his Twitter handle a picture that showed him undergoing intense physical training. Some fans assumed it to be the preparation for his character's evolution in the next season as well as a way of bouncing back after the break-up with his girlfriend Peyton (Aly Michalka).

Though Kohli denied any such changes for Ravi in Season 3, he assured fans that more elements would certainly be added to the character, and his role would be more significant than that in the first two seasons, reported TV Guide.

According to Christian Today, "iZombie" Season 3 will begin filming in a few weeks and fans might get to see more of Major's (Robert Buckley) newly-acquired zombie abilities. Once the vaccine created by Ravi wears off, Major becomes a complete zombie, with no traits of his human life left. Just like Liv (Rose McIver), Major will be able to adapt the personality of the particular people's brain that he eats.

Season 3 will pick up straight away from where the Season 2 finale left, with Liv finding out the truth about Vivian (Andrea Savage) and her army of zombies. However, the most shocking part of the episode was when Vivian revealed her plans of making Seattle the capital town of the zombie homeland.

The exact premiere date of "iZombie" Season 3 is yet to be confirmed by the network. Stay tuned for more updates here.
