Our favourite brain-eating zombie Liv Moore (Rose McIver) is not very lucky in romantic relationships as it is very rare to find someone who can survive with her and not die, ever. However, it seems like she will finally find the right guy in Season 3 of The CW's comedy-drama series "iZombie."

Liv's new boyfriend was first teased by executive producer of the series Rob Thomas at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 (SDCC). As reported by TV Line, Thomas had said, "Liv will have a love interest this year who does not die."

However, much to the disappointment of the fans, Thomas further added that it still doesn't mean that Liv will live with her new boyfriend happily ever after. He was quick to point out that the couple will separate by the time Season 3 ends.

Hinting at the cause of their separation, Thomas said that "whoever that is, the relationship will not end because of death." He might have hinted at Liv getting back with her ex-fiancé Major (Robert Buckley) that fans have been speculating for months. However, there is still no such official confirmation and the fans have to wait for Season 3 premiere to find it out.

In Season 2, Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) was seen making a huge sacrifice as he left Dale (Jessica Harmon) so that he could accompany Liv and protect her from all evils. Clive tried to keep things normal between him and Dale but both of them knew that it will never be the same between the two.

In an interview with IGN, McIver said that she supports the pairing of Clive and Dale and she wishes that the duo gets back together in Season 3. Goodwin is also looking forward to reprise his role in the third instalment of the series.

As reported by Yibada, in the upcoming episodes, Liv will be seen consuming the brain of a dominatrix that will cause her to inherit the traits. Elsewhere, Clive will have glimpse of his past that will leave him significantly stunned.

It is not yet revealed which actor will be portraying Liv's new boyfriend. "iZombie" Season 3 hasn't got an official air date, but there is a significant possibility that it will be premiered in the first half of 2017.
