The upcoming season of The CW's comedy-drama series "iZombie" Season 3 will see Natalie Alyn Lind of "Goldbergs" fame appearing in one of the episodes. She will portray the role of a victim on the show.

According to TV Line, Lind will act as an "entitled and somewhat bratty girl" named Winslow Sutcliffe. Though the character of Winslow will be of an arrogant teenager, she will play a key role in helping Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) with an investigation that would involve the murder of a father and daughter.

Diane Ruggiero, the Executive Producer of "iZombie," had earlier hinted about Winslow's role in the upcoming season at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 (SDCC).

"One that's coming up early on is that Liv and Major (Robert Buckley) eat brains together and it's a dad and a daughter. Liv eats the brains of the Dad and Major eats the brains of the belligerent teenage daughter. So we get to see that play out," Ruggiero had said.

Also, Variety has reported that "iZombie" Season 3 will get a Friday slot. Though the exact air date has not yet been announced officially, the information was revealed by the news outlet for advertisers to determine which shows have high commercial prospects for the 2016-2017 TV season.

According to Parent Herald, talks of "iZombie" being moved to a Friday slot first surfaced in July when it was revealed that The CW was looking forward to create a "Horror Night" in the show's current slate.

The Friday time slot was earlier considered TV death slot as under-performing shows with no future were used to be scheduled here before they were eventually cancelled. However, things have changed now and the Friday slot is currently one of the most popular time slots on television.

Whether "iZombie" Season 3 will be moved to Fridays or not, will be revealed once the air date of the show is announced by the network.
