Finally Rahul Gandhi or to be precise the office of Rahul has decided to join  micro-blogging site Twitter. A new Twitter handle @OfficeOfRG was started on the micro-blogging site on Wednesday evening.

Within hours, the Twitter handle has got 25.5K followers and the account has been verified. 

The description of the profile reads: "This is the official account of the Office of Rahul Gandhi".

The team tweeted the first official tweet on the profile on Thursday noon, which has been retweeted and favourited by many of his fans.

They have also asked to watch the space for more information and updates on Rahul's official programmes and events.

Rahul was many times criticised for not being a part of the cyber world and now many have started making fun of the Gandhi scion on Twitter.
