"It's apekshit, not upekshit," the Bihar Governor called out as RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's first born Tej Pratap Yadav fumbled while taking oath as minister in the Nitish Kumar government.

Governor Ramnath Kovind asked the Mahua MLA to repeat the oath as he misspelled the word apekshit (expectations) as upekshit (neglected).

However, the governor had to correct him once again as the 28-year-old said jab (when) instead of tab (then).

Lalu Prasad's younger son Tejaswi Yadav, who was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, is widely considered his political heir. The Raghopul MLA, who had quit his studies in class nine, took the oath far better than his elder brother.

Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi, who were former Bihar CMs, were also present at the ceremony.
