Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni attended the G7 Summit alongside her daughter, Ginevra Giambruno, whose presence quickly caught the attention of social media users. Videos circulating online showed the young girl navigating the intense media spotlight surrounding world leaders, with many viewers noting her shy and childlike reactions.

Throughout the event, Ginevra remained close to her mother as photographers and television crews documented the arrival of international delegations. In several clips shared online, she appeared uncomfortable with the attention and was seen holding tightly onto Meloni's hand.

Social media users pointed out that Ginevra often avoided direct eye contact with cameras and appeared hesitant around the large groups of journalists gathered at the venue. During formal interactions and greetings with officials, she was occasionally seen standing behind her mother.

The videos amassed more than a million views and sparked a wave of reactions online, with many users criticising the media attention directed at the child.

"Kids are kids... leave them to themselves," one user wrote, while another commented, "It is too much of the limelight for a small child. God bless!"

Others questioned why Ginevra was present at the summit. "Why is baby there? If she absolutely had to come along, mummy should have had a nanny who would have taken baby off flight and away from the business/work arrival protocols," a third user wrote.

Hosted by France in Γ‰vian-les-Bains from June 15 to 17, the G7 Summit brought together leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, India and the United States, along with representatives of the European Union. The annual gathering serves as a platform for discussions on major global economic, security and geopolitical issues.
