It can travel at a speed of 50 to 55 kilometres per hour and gives a mileage of 45 to 55 kilometres, once charged. The students said the team created this scooter as solar power was the future. India has committed to a huge expansion in renewable energy and improving the energy efficiency of its rapidly growing economy.
