Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal tied the knot on 25 January, Monday, by the beach in Goa. Attending the low-key affair were the couple's close friends and family members.
In the pictures, which made their way into social media, the pair looks happy and thrilled about the start of a new journey. While Irani made for a really beautiful bride in a stunning lehenga, Sehgal looked every bit a gentleman in his sherwani.
The festivities began on Sunday with a volleyball match between the bride and groom's teams, followed by Haldi and a cocktail party. Because they have always been very guarded about their relationship, the inside gossip from the wedding is hard to get.
The lovebirds have finally taken the plunge, but not many know that they have been stalling their big day for quite some time. Talking to Tellychakkar about marriage plans last year, Sehgal said they were focussing on their careers and that tying the knot wasn't on the cards.
"Not very soon. We both our career oriented and want to concentrate on our work. Our family understands so we don't have any kind of marriage pressure from them also," the web portal quoted him as saying.
Irani was last seen in "Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 8", whereas Sehgal is working in "Sarojini".
