Nishikanth Kamath's "Madaari" has talented actor Irrfan Khan in the lead role, but this is not the only thing that makes the film different from other Bollywood movies. Not many know that "Madaari" is an outcome of women power.

The film is produced by Irrfan's wife Sutapa Sikdar, while Deepshikha Deshmukh from Pooja Films, Shailaja Kejriwal (story ideation) and the head of Miraj Entertainment Sonal Deshpande have come together as producers to shape "Madaari."

"Madaari" is about taking a stand and shoulder responsibility of the situation and these women have done exactly that. They have united to put out a subject that needed to reach the audiences. These women have put in their best foot forward for "Madaari."

Here is what they have to say:

Sutapa Sikdar shares, "Powerful women in the wings took crucial decisions how would Madaari fight against the system on stage."

Shailja Kejriwal shares, "All the heroines of Madaari were behind the scenes."

Deepshika Deshmukh shares, "It was a collaborative effort that ensured we have the right sensibilities and perfect synergy in our approach and decision making."

Sonal Despande shares, "I personally feel proud to be associated with such a high on content film and specially with irrfan sir and nishi sir ...kudos to woman power."
