Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's "Te3n" will not clash with Irrfan Khan's "Madaari." The makers of "Madaari" avoided clashing with Big B's film just like how Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" evaded Salman Khan's "Sultan."

Both the films were scheduled to be released on June 10, but now Irrfan-starrer will hit the screens on July 15. "#Madaari will now release on 15 July 2016, instead of the earlier announced date 10 June 2016. Nishikant Kamat directs the film, [sic]" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Nishikant and Irrfan also opened up about the shifting of the release date. "As the director of this film, I want complete justice to be done to the subject of the movie. Hence I am convinced with the producer's decision of postponing the release date," IANS quoted Nishikant as saying.

Irrfan, who has turned producer with the film, concurred with the decision: "I am in agreement with the decision of the makers to change the release date of Madaari". After "Piku" and "Talvar," Irrfan is set to entertain viewers with another brilliant performance in this upcoming film, which is based on a true story.

"Madaari" is based on a real-life incident which led to loss of lives and numerous injuries. The film deals with an event that took place at the under-construction overhead Metro bridge on the Andheri-Kurla Road in suburban Marol. Also featuring Jimmy Shergill in a pivotal role, the film explores a father-son relationship.

The film's trailer was released recently and has garnered immense appreciation from all quarters. On the other hand, the trailer of Amitabh-starrer "Te3n" has also impressed the audience. Sujoy Ghosh's film stars Big B, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan.
