Kannur, Kerala July 4 (ANI): Family of a nurse stranded in strife-torn Iraq urged Indian government to ensure the safe and early return of their daughter on Thursday. Tintu is one among the 46 nurses, who were stranded in Tikrit and now have been moved to an unknown destination. Tintu’s father, M. Thankan, appealed the governments to take adequate steps for early return of his daughter. Tintu's mother Thankan said her daughter had told her over the telephone that she was safe and shifted to a different place. MEA spokesperson, Syed Akbaruddin, said on Thursday that the government was in touch with the nurses and their well-being was their top priority.
