New Delhi based consumer electronic firm Intex Technologies has released a new budget smartphone in India. The smartphone dubbed Cloud Y4+ has been listed on the company's official website with a price tag of ₹5,990.

The new smartphone which is said to be the uploaded version of Intex Cloud Y4 sports 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and it packs 4GB internal storage which is expandable by upto 32 GB with microsD Card.

On the camera front, the smartphone comes with 5.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity options of the phone includes 3G, Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and A-GPS and comes loaded with 1400mAh battery which claims up to 6 hours of talk time, as reported by NDTV Gadget.

The Intex Cloud Y4+ comes with preloaded apps such as Intex Play, Intex Cloud, Quickr, WeChat, Vault, Headline Today, Intex Games Club, Intex Zone, Skype, Hungama, and YouTube and will be available in Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow colours.

Earlier in February, Intex launched Cloud Y12 in India at ₹5,490. It sports a 4.0-invh FWVGA (480x854p) display, Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).

Other notable features include 2.0-megapixel main camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front camera, 2000 mAh battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and dual SIM slots.
