Indian electronics company, Intex Technologies, on Monday launched the Aqua Wonder Quad Core with a sub-₹10,000 price tag. The device is one of the very few quad-core based smartphones in the market to be sold at a low-cost price.

The Aqua Wonder smartphone sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with 540x960p resolutions and it runs on Android mobile OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean powered by the MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor. It packs 512MB RAM and 4GB storage capacity with options of expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card.

Speaking on the occasion of the Aqua wonder Quad Core launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, GM - Mobile Business, Intex Technologies (I) Ltd. said, "At Intex, we endeavor to bring innovative mobile solutions to mobile users of today. Reaffirming our commitment to quality and pioneering technologies, the newly launched Aqua Wonder quad core smartphone is a step towards empowering consumers in semi-urban towns and cities with cutting edge technology at an affordable price."
