New Delhi based ICT (Information and Communication Technology) company Intex Technologies Ltd has announced a new budget smartphone in India: Aqua i4+

With its impressive specifications and features, Aqua i4+ promises to be a smart and powerful smartphone capable of providing smooth user-experience," said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head - Mobile, Intex Technologies Ltd.
The new phone sports a 5.0-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display and runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Other stipulated specifications include a 8.0-megapixel main camera (auto-focus and flash support), 1.3-megapixel front camera and a 2000 mAh battery, capable of running six hours of talk time and 220 hours of standby mode.
The company says that the Intex Aqua i4+ will be available for ₹7,600 in two colour variants: Pearl Blue and Pearl White.
The new Intex phone will be up against local players like Micromax Canvas Viva, Canvas Fun A74, Canvas Juice A77 Canvas Lite A92, Karbonn Titanium S2, Lava Iris 458q and more.
