There are a number of big teams in the Serie A, two of them being Inter Milan and AC Milan, among others. The two teams are ready to battle it out at the San Siro on Sunday.

Inter Milan have not been able to shine this season as they would have expected, struggling in 10th place while AC MIlan lie at the third position. AC Milan come into this game confident as they have already defeated some quality teams like Juventus and Lazio. They have only suffered one loss this season and a win against Inter will help go second place.

AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella, despite their record, is in no mood to take Inter lightly.

"We are ready. We can't wait to play but I think we have to stay calm and relaxed. We face a team with class players who will do everything they can to win. Inter have had lots of ups and downs, but we must be aware that they have always played well against top teams," AC Milan's official website quoted coach Vincenzo Montella as saying.

Things have not gone according to plan for Inter Milan. The club removed Roberto Mancini and replaced him with Frank de Boer just a few months ago, but the management did not give him much chance with some poor results under his name. Hence, they have roped in former Lazio boss Stefano Pioli, who has managed a number of Italian clubs in the past.

Pioli will make his debut in the derby, and a victory here will help him win fans instantly. Though he has not spent much time with his players, he has the belief in them.

''There's a good atmosphere about the place and I'm proud of the way they've been training in the last few days. I've inherited a squad of top professionals who are all willing to listen and work hard. We must play with intensity and focus. I've only been here a few days but I've tried to convey my passion and the belief I have in these players. They've responded really well," Inter's official website quoted Pioli as saying.

Inter have the goods to deliver against AC Milan, but their players including Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic and Gary Medel have to stand up to pick three points. If Inter have such skilled players, AC Milan also have the likes of Carlos Bacca, Mattia De Sciglio and M'Baye Niang to push Montella's men to victory.

With such big names in both the teams, the derby is expected to be a close contest. Forget how Inter have been this season, Pioli will hope to turn things around on Sunday.
