Navsari, June 21(ANI): An Indian labourer who was working in Iraq safely returned to his home town Navsari in Gujarat. Patel said he was unable to contact his stranded friends in Iraq due to no connectivity. Militants from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), along with other Sunni rebels, are reported to have abducted dozens of foreigners including Indian nationals as they swept through towns in the Tigris valley north of Baghdad in recent days.
